the view from our room was stunning, even top of the hill! storage was lacking for our clothes.

The location just outside the bustling center is fantastic, providing a serene atmosphere while still allowing easy access to the local market and attractions. The jacuzzi in the room offers a unique relaxation experience, and the breakfast area at the top boasts a stunning view of the city.
WiFi isn't included in the room rate, which felt a bit off for a modern hotel.

The breathtaking view from the room, especially at sunrise, enhanced our experience immensely. The clean, modern room had a unique jacuzzi feature, which made for a luxurious stay. The blend of European and local breakfast was delightful, and the staff's readiness to prepare breakfast early for us was commendable.

The King Room with Spa Bath is a standout feature, offering a unique jacuzzi experience that adds a touch of luxury to your stay. The location in front of a temple gives you a vibrant local atmosphere, making it easy to soak in the culture right outside your window.
Be prepared for some noise from the temple, especially during special celebrations in March-mornings can get quite loud. WiFi isn't included at the price you pay, which feels a bit stingy, and daily room make-up was a bit lackluster. I missed having my room spruced up every day during my four-night stay. The food, particularly dinner, was a letdown-the lack of flavor and temperature issues were disappointing compared to other meals in Sri Lanka. Breakfast didn't fare any better with lukewarm coffee and a menu that left much to be desired.

Amazing view from the top breakfast area. Paid WiFi a bit frustrating. Great staff though.
